Return faulty ipod

Hi,

I purchased an ipod yesterday which appears to be faulty, cuts out intermitently, Im not bothered about a refund, I just want it replaced. I see the item is excluded from the 30 day money back guarentee. Will they offer a repair instead of replacment tho? as i do not want a repair, I only brought the thing yesterday and want a brand new unit that works, trouble is there are none left in stock.

Could someone please advise?

Many thanks!!

  • hi we brought one for my sons birthday at the beginning of december and it stopped working after 5 days. i took it back into argos and they gave me an instant replacement. they said that i had every right to an immediate exchange as it was easily within the 30 day period.
good luck , but you will have no problem if you just want to exchange it.

Within the first 30 days, replacement or refund.
After 30 days within 1 year, Apple (iPod) repairs/replaces the iPod (go to your nearest Argos with your receipt/proof of purchase).

  • As it is faulty you are entitled to refund or replacement, the exemption means it is excluded if you just change your mind and has no bearing if the item is actually faulty.
    You shouldn't have any problems.
