Estimated Salary on HMRC wrong

in Cutting tax
Hello,
the salary on my HMRC account is about £2000 higher than my actual salary,
still within the 20% basic rate tax ,
I only did overtime twice in June not worth near £2000
do I need to worry about it or just leave it?

Just leave it. These things correct themselves i time and if you overpay this year, your tax will be adjusted downwards next year

Unless it alters your PAYE coding, I'd leave it."Real knowledge is to know the extent of one's ignorance" - Confucius1

Estimated salary is only an issue when your salary goes over £100k.
Don't worry about it1 -
Your actual salary will determine how much tax will be deducted by your employer.1

Or are liable to HICBC and are paying tax towards it via your tax code.penners324 said:Estimated salary is only an issue when your salary goes over £100k.
