I never realised that the 'Final payment' proportion also has interest applied. I always assumed the interest was only on the actual part of the loan I was paying off. Agreed this make it so much more expensive than a normal loan and I am looking at doing a personal loan to just pay the whole loan off. I have roughly worked out it would save me over £2k interest over the same term.
