hiya just wanted to pick all your brains ,my BF has been trying to swop his couple of credit cards to 0% or better deals ... no chance then he tried for a loan .... no chance even his bank wouldnt help . his credit file is spotless except he has too much credit (we think ) so when our car packed up over xmas we had no choice but to get one on finance ( i have to have a car for my job) it sailed through with a decent apr ? so my question is ... is car finance different ?

What APR did you get the car on in the end? And if your BF is struggling to get credit, it would be a good idea to get his credit report from Experian or one of the other agencies to see if there is anything there that shouldn't be. When you say he has too much credit available, do you mean he has cards he isn't using?> If so, best bet would be to close the accounts.0

You'd be best to check the other 2 CRA's as well as different financial organisations use diffrent ones and there may be something on one of them.
