SolarEdge Promotional Pricing

I've just been told by 2 of the installers I use that SolarEdge is offering promotional pricing on its inverters and batteries till the 3rd of December across the UK. They're calling it a "Black Friday" offer.
10 Panels + 3.7 or 5kW Inverter + 10kW SolarEdge DC coupled battery for £9.9K. That's a ~£2K discount by my calculations.
Hope this helps anyone currently on the fence!

Would an add-on 10KWh battery be discounted and by how much? £3k would be far more palatable to increase capacity. At £5k it is not viable currently.6.75kwp (15 * 450W) SSE facing

I don't believe the above applies to add ons, but probably best to ask your installer to be certain.charles_b_2 said:Would an add-on 10KWh battery be discounted and by how much? £3k would be far more palatable to increase capacity. I think they are closing their utility side storage business. But continuing to focus on their PV side storage.nologo said:SolarEdge interim CEO 'Ronan Fair' has just announced the closure of their Energy storage devision (PV magazine) don't know how this may your affect purchase decisions? sorry can't post link

Not very clear messaging unfortunately.SolarEdge focused on PV-tied energy storage applications only, CEO says after division closure

It's a shame solaredge are not currently compatible with the seplos kits or you could get 30kwh of storage for £2.5kcharles_b_2 said:Would an add-on 10KWh battery be discounted and by how much? £3k would be far more palatable to increase capacity. At £5k it is not viable currently.
