This is the Royal Mail PAF Search output, so I would always use this, unless told otherwise by the builder;-

    25 XXXX XXXXXXX
    East CXXXXX
    Livingston
    EHXX 0XX

    Anonymised, of course.

We have only once had an issue with this where the local council had decided to put in Branston, something which is actually located in Tatenhill.

    Hi,

The builder has said there shouldn't be LivingXXX in the address. They shared the reservation sheet again as confirmation.

But yeah, I can see the address you commented above as the addresses shown in Royal Mail.

The bank has intructed the valuator to resubmit their report with correct address and my broker says the valuator will be checking with Builder and Council to confirm the address.

I read on the council website that their turn around time for any request is 10 working days.

Is this always the case? Will the valuator goto council or just they will check with builder?

    Thanks
  • Hi All,

The builder interviened and contacted both valuator and bank to sort out the issue.

Offer was generated on Friday(6th Dec 2024).

Completion date set to 12th Dec 2024.

Hopefully no other issues should come up between now and then.

I have purchased a building insurance and shared it with my solicitor. Do I need to give to my broker to upload it to bank's portal?

    Thanks
  • The completion happened successfully. Thanks all!
