Wait and see what forms they provide.
If there is an error, it will be paid1 -
Seems from a closed NHS advert for this role at that NHS trust that a trainee is required to complete an apprenticeship. Sorry it won’t let me post links, but easy to find on Google.1

Her contract posted on the first page is a permanent offer of a job (following successful 6 month probation period) which was successful, she is now a permanent employee, and it was a permanent offer from the outset
I could be entirely incorrect, but I didnt think you could be both an apprentice and a permanent employee in the same role? I was of the understanding that an apprenticeship is either for a fixed term and/or until a qualification is achieved, it seems contradictory to be given a contracted permanent full time job but to also be an apprentice??

When was the pay review ? I ask as when I worked for the NHS it took 6 months or more for us to receive the updated rate, it was backdated when paid.2

Your partner’s contract clearly states that her role is at a Band 3 level so that is what she should be paid and she should have received the 24/25 uplift in October’s pay. Payroll will process payments in accordance with amendments received from your partner’s manager so it looks like something has been submitted that has reduced your partner’s pay. Re an apprenticeship yes you can be recruited as a permanent employee and undertake an apprenticeship. There is a big push in the NHS to make full use of the apprenticeship levy which is why there are permanent roles and apprenticeships together.I’d suggest removing the employer’s name from the copy of the contract you’ve posted as your partner could potentially be identified from the other information you’ve posted.I do know the employer and I know they have a Recruitment and Onboarding Manager who works in the HR department. In the absence of the manager responding I’d contact them and ask them to look into it as something seems to have gone awry at the appointment stage.0
