I’M A CELEBRITY… GET ME OUT OF HERE! 2024 PRIZE DRAW: TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (“Prize Draw”)

 

Who can enter:

 

The Prize Draw is open to entrants who are: (a) resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man during the competition period and prize fulfilment period; (b) aged 18 years or over; and (c) not employees of the Promoter, companies within the ITV group of companies, STV Group PLC or are an immediate family member of the same (including any live-in partner); and (d) not in any way or professionally connected with the Prize Draw.

Please note that entrants must have a UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man phone number and address in order to be eligible to win the Prize Draw.

Opening/closing date & time:

 

•    Prize Draw in relation to the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 2024 programme (the “Programme”) opens for entries via SMS, post, the Programme app (the “App”) and online via the www.itv.com/win or www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) on Friday 15 November 2024. 
•    Prize Draw closes for entries via SMS, the App and online at 10.00am on Monday 16 December 2024;  
•    Prize Draw closes for entries via post at 4.00pm on Thursday 19 December 2024.  

 

Winner selection & contact:

 

•    The draw will take place within 24 hours of the closing date and time for all entries. 
•    Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries will win the prize
•    The prize is time sensitive and the winner will be contacted on or after the close date and will be called in accordance with Clause 5.3 of the ITV General Competition, Vote and Poll Terms (linked below).

 

How to enter & cost of entry:

 

•    SMS text – you will have the choice between the two (2) following options:

 

1.    Standard entry: send a SMS text with the keyword CELEB or WINNER to 68555. Each chargeable SMS text entry costs £2.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you one (1) entry into the Prize Draw (“Standard Entry”). Entrants who send a second SMS text entry using the same mobile number by the closing date and time will receive a third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). For each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers.

 

2.    Bundle entry: send a SMS text with the keyword FIVE or OFFER to 68555. The chargeable SMS text entry costs £5.00 plus one standard network rate message and this will give you five (5) entries (“Bundle Entry”). This will replace the Standard Entry and will only be available on your first entry within the Prize Draw period. Following the Bundle Entry, for each subsequent entry from the same mobile number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry). This therefore works as a ‘buy one entry get one entry free’ offer.

 

If you choose the Standard Entry as described in paragraph 1 above, you may make up to fifteen (15) Standard Entries in total per phone number. If you choose the Bundle Entry, as described in paragraph 2 above, you may make up to thirteen (13) entries in total (including one (1) Bundle Entry and up to twelve (12) additional Standard Entries) per phone number.

 

Please note that SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged (where applicable). If you do not want to receive marketing texts about similar products and services, please add NO INFO at the end of your text entry.

A single entry costs £2.00. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time, and other offers and discounts (e.g entry credits) may be applied or available, as stated on the Website.

By entering online, you will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the “Winsday” Prize Draw for every one (1) paid entry.

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Prize Draw will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. Where you opt to enter through one of the promoted paid entry routes, ITV must have received evidence of payment of any costs (as notified to ITV by the applicable payment provider) relating to the entry (as set out in the on-screen promotion and these terms and conditions) by the time that ITV conducts the winner selection in accordance with the Winner Selection & Contact section above. Any entry that does not meet this criterion will be incomplete, invalid and ineligible to win the prize.

Prize:

 

There is one (1) prize of £100,000 and a holiday to Australia.

 

(i) £100,000 cash

 

This element of the prize consists of £100,000 (one hundred thousand pounds) made payable by BACS in the name of the entrant only.

 

(ii) A holiday to Australia

 

This element of the prize consists of a 12 night-holiday to Australia for the winner and up to three (3) companions (this can be four (4) adults or two (2) adults and two (2) children) (“Holiday”). The Holiday includes the following: 
•    four (4) premium economy class flights with the airline Qantas from a London airport (London Gatwick or London Heathrow, subject to availability at the time of booking) to Sydney airport; 
•    private transfer from Sydney airport to the Shangri-La Sydney;  
•    accommodation for three (3) nights at the Shangri-La Sydney, based on four (4) people sharing one (1) or two (2) Horizon Premier Sydney Harbour rooms depending on the age of the winner’s companion(s). The stay at the Shangri-La Sydney includes Horizon Club Access which consists of private check-in, 4pm late check-out (subject to availability), a private boardroom, breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapes;
•    complimentary ‘Gold Dinner’ for four (4) people on a Captain Cook Cruise in Sydney (drinks are excluded);
•    private transfer from Shangri-La Sydney to Sydney airport; 
•    four (4) economy flights from Sydney to Adelaide airport; 
•    private transfer from Adelaide airport to hotel in Adelaide;
•    one (1) night accommodation in a mid-range hotel in Adelaide ahead of The Ghan stay, and such hotel shall be at the discretion of Travelbag depending on availability at the time of booking;
•    transfer from the hotel in Adelaide to The Ghan Train Station; 
•    two (2) nights on The Ghan train in two (2) Gold Twin cabins, including all-inclusive dining in the Queen Adelaide Restaurant, all-inclusive Australian wines, beers, spirits (for the winner and companion(s) over 18 years old) and beverages, an Off Train Excursion (either Marla, Alice Springs or Katherine, at the winners’ choice, subject to availability) and access to the Outback Explorer Lounge. 
•    Private transfer from The Ghan Train Station to a hotel in Darwin; 
•    one (1) night stay in a mid-range hotel in Darwin after The Ghan stay, such hotel shall be at the discretion of Travelbag depending on availability at the time of booking; 
•    four (4) economy flights from Darwin to Cairns airport; 
•    private transfer from Cairns airport to Daintree Wilderness Lodge; 
•    accommodation for two (2) nights at the Daintree Wilderness Lodge, based on four (4) people sharing two (2) Rainforest Cabins, on a bed and breakfast basis; 
•    private transfer from Daintree Wilderness Lodge to Mandalay Luxury Beachfront Apartments; 
•    accommodation for three (3) nights at the Mandalay Luxury Beachfront Apartments, based on four (4) people sharing a two-bedroom apartment, on a room-only basis; 
•    private transfer from Mandalay Luxury Beachfront Apartments to Cairns airport;
•    four (4) premium economy class flights with the airline Qantas from Cairns airport to a London airport (London Gatwick or London Heathrow, subject to availability at the time of booking); and
•    an optional four (4) day car hire in Port Douglas, subject to availability at the time of booking. Please note that car hire will be from and to Cairns airport.

 

Please note that the Captain Cook Cruise operates from Wednesday to Sunday (excluding public holidays and special events).

 

In respect of the Off Train Excursion (as set out above), please note that: 
o    the Marla experience is not a formal Off Train Experience but a 45-minute stop to stretch legs; 
o    Travelbag will discuss with the winner which excursion (including in the Gold fare) the winner wants to choose in Alice Springs and Katherine (subject to availability). The winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the various accommodations for security deposit purposes.

 

The Holiday must be booked and taken up by 31 December 2025. The Holiday is subject to availability and cannot be taken during the following dates: 
•    5 December 2024 to 9 January 2025; 
•    4 April 2025 to 13 April 2025; 
•    27 June 2025 to 4 August 2025; 
•    5 December 2025 to 31 December 2025.

 

In addition to the dates above, the following blackout dates also apply: 

•    In respect of the Shangri-La Sydney stay: 
o    27 January 2025; 
o    18, 19, 20 and 25 April 2025;
o    9 June 2025; and
o    6 October 2025.

 

•    In respect of The Ghan Train element of the holiday: 
o    January, February and March 2025; and
o    23 October 2025 to 1 November 2025.
Please note that travel is permitted between: (i) 02 April 2025 and 22 October 2025 on Wednesday departures only; and (ii) 02 November 2025 and 23 November 2025 on Saturday departures only. 

•    In respect of the Daintree Wilderness Lodge and Mandalay Luxury Beachfront Apartments stays:
o    18 April to 21 April 2025; and
o    23 May to 25 May 2025.

 

Where the winner’s companion is aged under 18 years old, the companion must have prior parental or guardian permission to accompany the winner when taking up the Holiday.

 

The winner and their companions must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and entry to Australia. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six (6) months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the Holiday. It is the responsibility of the winner to (i) organize and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for the travelling party; (ii) ensure that the travelling party is adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs, and (iii) ensure that the travelling party adheres to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by Travelbag. Particular attention should be given to the foreign travel advice available at https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/australia.

 

It is the responsibility of the winner to inform the prize provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the winner and/or their companion(s) when taking up the Holiday, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

 

•    an optional four (4) day car hire in Port Douglas, subject to availability at the time of booking. Please note that car hire will be from and to Cairns airport. 

If the winner opts for the car hire option in Port Douglas, Travelbag will communicate all the relevant requirements to the winner, including but not limited to the winner’s driving licence, credit card and security deposit.

 

It is the responsibility of the winner to provide correct, up-to-date details when booking the holiday. Travelbag and/or the Promoter will not be held responsible for the winner failing to supply accurate information which affects the delivery of the Holiday.

 

All expenses not explicitly set out above will be the responsibility of the winner.

 

If the winner does not take an element of the Holiday at the time stipulated by Travelbag for any reason, that element of the Holiday will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the Holiday.

 

The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchange for a cash alternative. Once booked, travel tickets cannot be altered or amended.

 

Upon booking their Holiday, the winner will be bound by and subject to Travelbag’s terms and conditions, which are available at https://www.travelbag.co.uk/important-information/booking-conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to positively amend the prize during the Prize Draw period by either: (i) increasing the amount of a cash prize; and/or (ii) offering additional prize(s).
