Paying tax or NI isn't a requirement to qualify for the State Pension.Hunnie1977 said:

Benefits are there to get you to the breadline or thereabouts. So, if you don't want to work, you will have to get used to a lower standard of living.
but got person who come over and get full benefits even though not paid a penny in tax ot NI
Plenty of people accrue NI credits from Child Benefit claims, other benefits claims or earning above the LEL.
All are perfectly valid ways of becoming entitled to some or all of the new (or old basic) State Pension.

I think he's alleging that people move to this country and receive full pension and benefits, even though they have never paid UK tax or NI. It's a common conspiracy theory in some circles.
