No. It's hardly ever a good idea to turn unsecured debt in secured debt.
Better to move the CCs to 0% balance transfer cards and pay down as quickly as possible0 -
If you're paying it off at completion of the new purchase, leave it alone. Most lenders will ignore it if being repaid from residual equity.I am a mortgage broker.
