I've used Stocard for the last couple of years but now it has been bought out by Klarna I want another, simple, clear place to store my loyalty cards.

I have them mostly in my Google wallet.
You can add a photo of the physical card (if it has a barcode) and it concerts into something that looks like another digital card stored in Google wallet
Edit and you can also import others that have a formal wallet loyalty card like Boots, Nectar etc.5 -
I'm on iPhone but almost all loyalty apps allow you to store the card in the Apple Wallet.
So you need to download the Clubcard app first but you can then add the Clubcard to the Apple Wallet.
I'd assume the same is possible with Google Wallet.1 -

It's now telling me I need to download the klarna app. Is this the best option, or is there something better? The reason I used stocard was it doesn't need an internet connection to work, does klarna?

Google wallet supports all the loyalty cards that I've got.2

There was another thread on this recently - I use my Google wallet for all my loyalty cards, even those which are otherwise physical only, by taking a photo of the barcode which then gets converted.

Thanks I originally used google wallet but I think it needed a data/internet connection (which isn't great round where I live), is that not the case now?0

Google Wallet does not need an internet connection in use.
Obviously you have to have an internet connection when setting up your card(s).0 -
I let it upgrade to Klarna - it looks virtually the same as Stocard did, and all of my cards copied over automatically.1
