You need to lose the cleaner, or reduce them to fortnightly.
We both work FT but a cleaner is not a luxury we can afford right now.
£63 on the mobile is insanity - again were about £12 each, when does your contract end?
Same for £65 a month on clothes, do you really spend this every month?
There's over £100 a month saved, and then another £100 a month on the grocery bill.1 -

There's over £100 a month saved, and then another £100 a month on the grocery bill.£63 is going to come down when I negotiate my airtime contract soon. The phone itself is £19 on the loan which will be done Feb next year I think. The cleaner is somewhat of a necessity to me because of my health conditions but I do see it’s a large cost in my outgoings.Clothes is something that I added in because it’s always good to have a buffer. I’d usually have put £0. It’s not a monthly occurrence but that does include things my son needs not just me personally. The figures feel rather inflated to what they were prior but because now I’ve missed payments I’ve lost the 0% offers on cards so have gone off the new %. Which was due to an unexpected underpayment of £1200 from work.Prior it was manageable on my income but left me with not a lot some months which is fine also but now as you can see would put me in the red. With the DMP in place as it is I’d be in the black by £1500 (based on this SOA) and that’s on a lower end of the scale monthly income.0 -

Update: I’ve had a notice of default this morning.10k credit card with Halifax have said they’re closing my account within 2 months and issuing a default after 1 missed payment. Even with me being breathing space.Vanquis £2600 CC have refused the DMP.
Virgin have sent me a second notice of default sums.0 -
Vanquis can't refuse the DMP. It's an informal relationship that doesn't require their approval. Just stop paying until they register a default. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

No cleaner, no pets. They are luxuries.0
