Update.. They have stopped contacting and have taken it off my credit score ?? Any ideas what will happen next0

Well I would definitely leave it alone. I see two possibilities.
They have sold it to someone else and they will contact you.
They have written it off.

Lowell don`t normally sell the debts they have bought, so it seems strange to have it removed from your credit file, unless they are writing it off, but if that were the case, they would have told you.

I checked on a different credit score site and they have put it as closed so not sure what that means0
