So I can still get the full pension then if I contribute to another 14 years of full NI going forward?eskbanker said:
Your forecast already takes that contracting out into account.hewittinspain said:

When i look at my forecast it says I'm forecast to get £221 if I contribute 14 more years of NI contributions but at the bottom of the page it says I was contracted out so is that forecast wrong and just an estimate or should I get that if I contribute to what they need?
I would have thought my forecast may have been less if I had been contracted out at some point years ago (although I don't know when I was contracted out and I don't know how long for)0 -

If you were contracted out it means you've got a works pension floating around somewhere from a previous employer you could do with tracking down...it can only be good for you.hewittinspain said:

Try the government pension tracing service for help with this, and try and remember where you worked before you went to Spain!!!......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Funny enough in 2021 I got a letter from Reassure telling me they have been trying to find me and I have a pension of just over £5k. I had to update some personal details to verify who I was.GunJack said:

I wonder if that was the works pension from years ago as I had no idea about it and I'm not sure if I should leave it separate. I work for Royal Mail now and Ive been in their pension scheme since 2013.0
