Morning Gers and all to follow, thanks for stsrting.
A late start for me as well, I slept a bit better last night.
It's quite a nice morning I think, we'll see how it turns out.
I'll pop back later to see what everyone is up to today.
Take care foks.

Good morning, thanks for starting us Gers.
A grey day again. Today I need to go shopping for a few things. I am writing a list and must remember to look at it. We have got 2 MOTs and services coming up in the next few weeks, so a few pennies have to be saved, and its not as though the freezer isn't full.
Izzy, hope your pup is improving.
Taff, its only a small shed. There was a couple of sacks of rubbish outside so I guess some of Justin's stuff has gone. OH does often mention about getting a bigger shed, no chance mate!
SO, how was your walk and talk?
Off to do a shopping list, have a good day all whatever you're doing x11 -
Ablutions done, creams applied and coffee made. The sky is grey and the ground damp, we're edging closer to winter. I should be grateful though I really loathe the dark months. My friend's husband was undecided about driving yesterday so I put off going shopping in case I was to take her today. Happily, the physio gave him the all clear so they're back to a normal routine. I'm undecided about going as I have enough in to make a new batch of soup and plenty of other stuff. My consumption is reducing, thank goodness, so I'm less keen on stocking up, at least for another month. So, another plan-free day.I read everything here and then it all slips away - is it an age thing? Blooming hope not. @DP1 - well done your little one, she's managing really well. And congrats to your eldest DD too. Now, that's all I remember without looking back.Hugs to poorlies, those with poorly friends and family, those having a tough time and those with a house full of tradies.11

Morning everyone little dog seems to be a bit brighter she hasn’t had a bite to eat for two days so I’ve made her a scrambled egg this morning and she’s eaten half of it and kept it down so hopefully she is on the mend . DP1 congratulations to your daughter and it’s good to hear little one is doing well. Gers I know what you mean about memory I surprised myself the other day when I remembered to take my list when I went to the local card shop to get a few birthday cards the girl said just shout if you want any help no I’m alright I said I’ve brought my list by the time I left the shop I had lost the list it was in my hand so I told her she will probably come across it when she’s filling up the cards there’s no hope for me . Remmie money seems to be going nowhere I’m trying not to buy anything and just using up what’s in the house as I have savings at the local butcher for Xmas and a Iceland savings card which will fill them up again and hopefully no spends in December. It’s grey and chilly here I’m off out to do my volunteering in a minute then this afternoon I’ve been roped into helping my daughter in law to clear out the spare bedroom and bring any bags here to take to the charity shops for her I don’t know how I agreed to that . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing11

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Weather same old same old. Gloomy and grey but at least not raining. The weatherman has just said we can expect to see a bit of sunshine next week. Whoop whoop!
Yesterday's shopping trip with DD lasted all day. Finally fell through the door at 6 pm after being out all day. I was foot sore and leg weary but I have at last got cracking with stocking filler buying. It's all still in the bags I dumped when I got home, just some grocery stuff picked up along the way has been put away. The freezer is beyond rammed but I am refusing to switch the second freezer on again.
I need to do a bit of a Friday Tidy today but I think it may be a half hearted affair. Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) as always for our poorlies, sad or lonely. Take care stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -
Morning all
Dry here but the air seems damp and cold, I have a wash on the go but it will have to stay on the airer as there is no chance of it drying outside.
I am off to take little pup for her haircut today I’ve never known a dog who’s hair grows so quickly and so long, she is lovely and smooth when she comes out but I bet she will feel the cold for a few days bless her.
Not sure about dinner tonight will go and look in the freezer after this it won’t be anything too complicated as it’s Friday and my day off so simple is good.
I will take the dogs out later and then have a tidy through and then maybe light the log burner and feet up for the afternoon.
Izzy I’m glad your pup is on the mend xx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Morning everyone
Dull and grey here this morning - it would be nice to get some sunshine. I have a few jobs to do then I'll go down to mam and dads for a cuppa and to do dads banking....this is the week they get no money so he'll be grumbling!
Really have nothing interesting to say after posting last night, so I'll just hope that everyone has a good day x8 -
Thanks for welcoming me back yesterday
Dp1 ~ is vinted any better for selling than ebay? I have wondered about trying it out.....also who knew that people buy empty lego boxes, I definitely missed a trick there!
Gers ~one of the reasons I gave up last time I posted in this thread is because I would read everything, then it would all slip away in a blur, I'd scroll up again to look up details and by the time I'd scroll down again everything would empty out of my flustered little head.....there is a lot of ADHD in our family and I do wonder about myself sometimes, but of course it could just be ageing!
Today I must scurry to take my mother to a pharmacist appointment to review her medications, she's ninety five and still living independently - with help from my family and a lovely cleaner/carer we managed to find when my health problems meant I could no longer do the heavy stuff. Only problem is she does sometimes muddle these appointments, I've tried to persuade her to let me in on her medical appointments but she is private and independent and I have to respect that. Wishing you all a happy Friday9 -
Morning allJust back from food shopping. Ruby thanks for the heads up re Baileys at Sainsbobs, that's a Crimbo present off my list!Still dull and misty here too. Nothing else going on here today so I'll send hugs to the poorlies and wish you all a happy day x8

Morning All
Like most if you we have another grey day, plus it's windier.
I am going to a crochet class today, it's for 5 weeks so a way for me to get out and meet new people. DH has done a few things since we moved last year but this will be my first.
I decided to start putting appointments etc on a calendar as my memory which I have always thought was excellent is not so good since I finished work. Plus DHhas always tended to leave it to me to remember.
Hugs to all who want them and have a good day
