3 weeks seems like a long time, what has happened in that time?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thank you for your reply it will be 3 weeks tomorrow
I have been told it’s with underwriters , they have already had all the basics from us payslips , bank statements etc all fine , they asked for confirmation that DMP has been conducted ok fine with that and they have asked for agreements for a few loans we have recently paid , I don’t have access to these anymore so provided proof they have been settled ( they would of finished anyway in a month or 2 very small amounts left on them ) but I thought I was doing right thing clearing them early ! Found out this afternoon they The broker has appealed with the business manager and now waiting to see if Bluestone will accept the confirmation of closure instead just seems a long time , had hard search done on 25th October0 -
Ah ok, so there has been further requests for information. That makes a bit more sense.
I dont think the broker needs to appeal anything, just a case of letting them know the debts have been cleared and providing the evidence to that effect.
It should be fine.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thank you for your time
I have just been called to say the confirmation of them being settled is not enough and I have to send them the original agreements now as they are querying if the are classed as payday loans , I have read on previous thread that some people have had recent payday loans and been approved and others haven’t so not sure what to be thinking as these loans were taken out a year ago , one was with credit spring and the other lending stream so they probably are classed as payday but the are now cleared so I’m u sure what to think

Yea im not fully up to speed with PDLs and Bluestone, they changed the criteria on them a few months ago.
It cant recall if it is no new PDLs in the last 6-12 months or no PDLs in the last 6-12 months. I think it also vaires depending on the product range your looking at.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Thank you for being so helpful, I see your a mortgage adviser so appreciate your time
I have had a DIP from them they have seen everything bank statements, credit files etc they knew these were on there from the beginning so it’s not a surprise to them now after 3 weeks so I’m concerned we have got this far down the line for this to now come up and ply they are all paid off in full now so I’m thinking surely that must count for something !
Concerned if they decline me where to go next to be honest0 -
I think you need to speak to your broker.
Do you fit criteria? If not and wont before completion, then I think an appeal is unlikely and you probably need to be looking for Plan B.
If you do or will be completion, then its fine.
Im reluctant to go into lots of detail when another broker is involved as history on this site tells me I might be answering based on half a story and the other half might have something important which means I am wrong. I also dont want to step on someone else toes, I wouldnt want it done to me.
