First default? Who should I pay?

Hi to all,

I think that the attached snippet from a letter received from Newday (Pulse) Credit Card is my first default?

There are no defaults showing just yet on the credit reference agencies.

The letter which was actually via their website suggests that I make contact in order to arrange a payment schedule.
I’m not sure if it is best to pay them direct or wait until it is sold on to a DCA?

What say you?

Thank you in advance for your valued suggestions and advice.

I'd wait till you get the hard copy, but that may only be a few days. Then, if your strategy is to make an affordable payment, you may as well start

Thanks very much. I shall contact them with my offer of what is affordable to me.

I'd suggest waiting until the default is actually registered on your credit record. Which of the providers reports your Pulse debt?

I'd suggest waiting until it show too to make sure it has actually been registered as a default.

@RAS I can see it on TransUnion. Not showing defaults yet. Just two missed payments.

OK, keep tabs on Transunion and hopefully it will appear soon. The creditors will write with their account details and the reference number you need.
