I am not sure if anyone can help with this.

My partner of 26 years died in February and I am in the process of dealing with the Estate.  We owned the property I live in as Joint Tenants. I understand the property passes to me. I am still paying the remainder of the mortgage. However, there was a charge put on the property in 2007 in my partner's name only  but it appears that the company that put the charge on the property are no longer trading. Asset Link (No 5) Limited.  I need to contact them to find out the value of the charge but when I tried they would not give me any information as it was not in my name.  Does anyone have any ideas on how to proceed please as I cannot organise my partner's affairs without this. Thank you
