The "prize" is just a voucher for 20% off and you don't have to pay for the voucher.
To use the voucher you will have to make a purchase and pay.
Hundreds of competitions offer "losers" a discount voucher - usually coming by email as "You didn't win this time but here's a voucher...."
Treat it just as you would a leaflet through the letterbox. It is not illegal or dodgy for companies to offer discount vouchers, but it is annoying if the email title says "Congratulations - you've won...."3
