MBNA Credit card money trasnfer issue

I took out MBNA card on 24 Nov last year. On 27 Nov, there's a promotion of 0% for 18 mnths and took out £3k. Again on Jan'24, there's an offer of 0% for 12 mnths. I've been paying it off slowly but to my surprise received a text message saying both will expire this month and needs to be paid. Spoke with them over the phone and confirms it is correct whilst another one says it should have been for 18 and 12 months separately. Now am in a situation to clear it out this month which I'd not planned for. It seems like a complete confusion for me. I've asked to raise a complaint for it but I doubt anything could be resolved within this month where the zero percent rate would expire. Any thoughts please?

If you have in writing that you definitely obtained an 18 month 0% term, and haven't done anything to jeopardise that, then all you can do is complain - if they fail to correct the error quickly enough then they should reimburse any interest costs arising from not repaying in full by the revised date.

Thanks for your reply. That’s the point. I cannot find it anywhere. It doesn’t mention about promotion offer and lenght of offer.

Also, I cannot find hostorical promotional rates during that time which was offered. When I asked them, all they say is there’s none of 18 mnths on offer during that time.

What have your statements been showing for "Breakdown of balances" each month ? It should show individual promotion balances, rate and expiry dates.

There is only expiry date in my statement at the bottom which I never thought of significance. Under the breakdown of balances, they didn't mention anything about promotional interest rate.

Surprisingly one of the employee I spoked with confirmed it should have been for 18 months.
