Do salaried wages increase in line with NMW rise from 2025?

Back in 1991 I joined the civil service, at that stage we had age related pay, between 16 and 21 the pay graduated up, at 18 I earnt £5k ish and worked with older women doing the exact same job for half the pay. The NMW has certainly been a double edges sword. Yes it stopped people at the bottom end of the wage scale below the NMW figure being exploited but it had the secondary effect of depressing the salaries of those not far above NMW. Some employers saw the NMW as being all they needed to pay anybody.
