Santander online servicing of flexible mortgage

I see Santander are the latest to revamp their online servicing, breaking their systems in the process which means I can no longer make transactions online.
Why don't IT departments test their work before it goes live?

Hello @surreysaver sounds like we are in the same position. After one phone call and two chats I am being told that they have no plans to reinstate our access. Our mortgage is part-repayment, part-interest only and that is the "reason" given for us not having access. Same for you?
I am going to complain to santandercomplaintsteesside@santander.co.uk1 -
That's the email address I was given by customer services, but I'm checking if it's the best one for a formal complaint

Sorry, only just seen your reply. I phoned them up and they said the issue had affected lots of people.
I am able to make transactions, but the way the statements are now laid out don't really make a lot of sense and I now have to make my own calculations to work out how much interest I am paying!I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0 -
I have this problem as well. The chat gave me a way of paying using a sort code etc. Very annoying0

Tried to withdraw money from my savings part of our Santander Flexible Mortgage yesterday and was unable to do it!
Spent 30 minutes this morning, speaking to 3 people, to try and get it sorted. They advised they were aware of the issue and to keep logging on to see if it’s been sorted, after arranging funds withdrawal over the phone.
Having just stumbled across this forum and registered, I’m concerned that Santander have no intention of sorting this problem, or don’t have the competency to sort it!0 -
I am the same as you V3rryF4ustrated it doesn't seem like they are going to fix it. Om top of that when I called to make an overpayment on 13th December it was made but has still not actually been allocated to my mortgage, by that I mean I can see the amount in the mortgage account but my balance has not changed.0
