Mortgage Audit

Has anyone had their mortgage account audited? I remember a TV programme a few years ago about this where an audit had revealed certain lenders had been overcharging interest on mortgage accounts for a number of years.
I have just paid off my mortgage after eight-and-a-half years and wondered if I should have the account audited (not certain what I was told about interest on certain things not being charged is true or not).
Who do I approach to have an audit done and how much (approximately) does it cost? Any places do it on a commission basis (ie recoup their cost by taking a percentage of what they find has been overcharged)?
Thanks.
