Does this include life insurance provided by employers (e.g. Death in service) or just personally purchased policies?• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.

I used to work for a company offering this sort of cover, and it was always drummed into us that it it's "life assurance", not "life insurance".
Insurance = for something that MIGHT happen, like a car accident.
Assurance = for something that WILL happen, like death.

Exactly what I was going to say. Come on, MSE, us widows need to be able to take part too, you know!

Voted in the poll but results seem a bit odd. Was no mention of "having a will" in the poll but that is shown above types of life insurance voters have had. No results for WHY voters do not have insurance....and age ranges not mentioned. Or am I getting the result of something else? Plus, it is possible to keep on voting after submission ...not usually the case?1
