Tax Refund through Govt. Gateway

I have just read a message on my Govt. Gateway re a tax refund due for the year 2023/24. I stopped working halfway through 2023/24. As I receive an Occupational Pension from Mar 2022, I assumed that any refund would be coded. Anyone else get this?

Tax refunds for a closed year are never given through a tax code.1
