I am trying to gather information I am soon to be in a discussion with my wage at work and wanted to know if my boss can discuss my wage with anyone else, as I believe it's a private conversation and would fall under data Protection.

I guess it depends who they discuss it with.0

They can discuss your wage with their line managers, senior managers, company owners, HR team, finance team, payroll team etc. Pretty much anyone that they reasonably could be expected to discuss it with to address whatever issue you have.
What they should not do though is discuss it with your peers or their mate Fred who works in the next office over just as a bit of gossip over a brew.5 -

There used to be an expectation that colleagues never discussed their salaries. So you wouldn't tell Bob and Bob wouldn't tell you. And it always came across as a firing squad offence but more recently it's been "suggested" that things aren't discussed. I believe this is because so many people are paid within a range of salaries and so everyone has a pretty good idea what others are being paid. They shouldn't be sat in the common room chatting to all and sundry about it but there will be a substantial number in a company who'll know and I wouldn't be too worried about it. As a project person I know the salaries of lots of people as I need them to budget the project and do the business case.1
