Maybe they'll bring their prices down as a result!  (yeah, no)

  • Absolutely shocking! I am very disappointed with their decision.
  • Yeah I agree, absolutely shocking, I had no idea they gave out free newspapers in the first place. Do you get to pick any newspaper ? Now I know I'll get me moneys worth before the 29th.

They stopped it in 2022 for me, I never understood how some members got it continued and others didn’t.

I thought it stopped years ago.

Anyway, these days I have no time for the nonsense that appears in those publications

They have the Waitrose Weekend still. It is a good read and my chickens appreciate the newspaper.

If you don't have the newspaper vouchers in the Waitrose app now then you won't be able to get a free one anyway.

Out of all the people I know, I am only aware of one person under the age of 75 who regularly purchases a physical newspaper these days, and absolutely nobody who has ever purchased an online newspaper subscription.

I've never understood how they continue to stay in business?
    • The rich buy assets.
    • The poor only have expenses.
    • The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.

I know an awful lot of people who have the paper boy/girl deliver their papers each morning. Our local paper shop are crying out for people to deliver them. The outside of the shop has 4 cages of papers delivered each morning.

My husband purchases an online subscription for his as do other friends.
