Terms & Conditions – Jet2holidays Bid for a Break x Mail Metro Media Promotions

These promotions are promoted by Jet2holidays Limited (registered number: 04472486) whose registered office 

is at Low Fare Finder House, Leeds Bradford Airport, Yeadon, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS19 7TU ("Jet2holidays", 

"we" or “us”). By entering the prize draw, you are deemed to accept these terms:

1. Bid For a Break will run for 4 weeks from the 23rd October 2024 until 15th November 2024 There will be 4

promotions in total during that period and each promotion will open at 00:01 and close at 23:59 on the date

bands detailed in paragraph 3).

2. Entrants to each promotion must be residents of the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man and must be 

aged 18 years or over. Employees and officers of Jet2holidays, Jet2.com Limited (“Jet2.com”), Jet2 plc or any 

companies within the same group or any organisation professionally involved with the promotion (or in each 

case, their close relatives) are not eligible to enter. An entrant may only be entered into each promotion once, 

but they may enter as many of the promotions as they like. 

3. Promotion Date bands:

• 13th November – 15th November

How to enter:

4. Jet2holidays will host a landing page on https://www.jet2holidays.com/bid-for-a-break. This will also be 

accessible from the Jet2holidays app. 

5. To enter a promotion for an opportunity to purchase a holiday at a lowest unique bid price, you must go on the 

Jet2holidays landing page or app between the times detailed in paragraph 1 above and enter your email 

address and SMS on the relevant form, entering the price you think will be the lowest unique bid for the holiday 

displayed and as detailed within these terms. 

6. Jet2holidays shall not be responsible for and shall not have to accept entries which do not reach it before the 

closing time or are illegible, incomplete or corrupted. 

Choosing a Winner:

7. There will be one winner of each promotion (4 winners in total). The winner of a promotion will be either (i) the 

person who has entered the lowest unique bid for the advertised holiday in that promotion; or (ii), in the unlikely 

event of there being no lowest unique bid, Jet2holidays will take the price that has been entered by the lowest 

number of people and randomly select a winner from those entrants who have entered that price. Where there 

are two or more prices with jointly the lowest number of entrants who have bid on the respective amounts, the 

winner will be randomly selected from the entrants who submitted the lowest of those prices. 

8. The winner will be notified by email or using the other contact details provided to us within 24 hours after 

the closing time for the relevant promotion. We will try our best to contact the winner during the specified 

time. 

9. Once contact has been made with the winner, they will be offered the chance to purchase the holiday that 

was the subject of the particular promotion they have won and they will be required to confirm whether 

they would like to purchase that holiday at the price of their winning bid or not, within 24 hours of having 

been notified of their win. The winner is under no obligation to purchase the holiday.

10. If the winner does confirm that they would like to purchase the holiday at the winning price, Jet2holidays 

will take the winner through its holiday booking process, which will be subject to Jet2holidays' and 

Jet2.com's terms and conditions which can be found at http://www.jet2holidays.com/terms-and-conditions

and http://www.jet2.com/terms respectively (together, the “Terms and Conditions”). 

11. If the winner (i) cannot be contacted or is not available; (ii) has not confirmed whether or not they would 

like to purchase the holiday at the winning price within 24 hours of having been notified of their win; or (iii) 

does not want to purchase the holiday at the winning price, then the winner will forfeit their prize and will 

no longer be entitled to purchase the holiday at the winning price. If this happens, Jet2holidays can select 

another winner using the same selection criteria described above. 

12. For transparency we will generally publish the first name, first letter of surname and county of prize 

winners online. However, if you are a winner and you object to us doing this or would like us to reduce the 

amount of information we publish, then please let us know when claiming your prize.

13. The prize for the promotion commencing at 00:01 on 23rd October 2024 and finishing at 23:59 on 25th October 

is the opportunity to purchase the following holiday at the winning bid price:

(a) a 7-night holiday for 2 adults, 2 children (up to the age of 12 on the date of return) in a Senior

Suite on a half-board basis at the 5* GF Victoria in Tenerife, Canaries. This prize includes return 

flights for up to 4 people from any UK airport from which Jet2 flies directly to Tenerife South 

Airport (TFS) and allows the duration of the prize advertised, transfers to and from the overseas 

airport and the hotel AND 1 free item of checked baggage of up to 22kg per person. 

(b) This prize must be booked by 13th November 2024 and must be completed between one of the 

following bands subject to availability (including all return travel):

2024 is the opportunity to purchase the following holiday at the winning bid price:

(a) a 3-night holiday for 2 adults (over the age of 18) in a standard double or twin room on a bed 

& breakfast basis at the 4* plus Hotel Reykjavik Saga in Reykjavik, Iceland. This prize includes 

return flights for up to 2 people from any UK airport from which Jet2 flies directly to Reykjavik 

(Keflavik) airport (KEF) and allows the duration of the prize advertised AND 1 free item of 

checked baggage of up to 22kg per person. 

o This prize does not include transfers to and from the overseas airport and the hotel.

o This prize must be booked by 20th November 2024 and must be completed between one of 

the following bands subject to availability (including all return travel):

at the 4* plus Swandor Kemer in Antalya Area, Turkey. This prize includes return flights for up 

to 2 people from any UK airport from which Jet2 flies directly to Antalya Airport (AYT) and allows 

the duration of the prize advertised, transfers to and from the overseas airport and the hotel 

AND 1 free item of checked baggage of up to 22kg per person. 

(c) This prize must be booked by 27

th November 2024 and must be completed between one of the

16. The prize for the promotion commencing at 00:01 on 13th November 2024 and finishing at 23:59 on 15th

November 2024 is the opportunity to purchase the following holiday at the winning bid price:

(a) a 7-night holiday for 2 adults, 2 children (up to the age of 16 on the date of return) in a queen 

room with garden view on a bed & breakfast basis at the 5* Fairmont Tagazout Bay in Agadir 

Area, Morrocco. This prize includes return flights for up to 4 people from any UK airport from 

which Jet2 flies directly to Agadir Airport (AGA) and allows the duration of the prize advertised.

o The prize also includes private transfers to and from the overseas airport and the hotel, a 25kg 

hold-baggage allowance per person on each flight and a complimentary drink per person per 

flight, and priority lane security pass at your outbound UK departure airport. 

o This prize must be booked by 4

th December 2024 and must be completed between one of the

17. The prize, being the opportunity to purchase the holiday at the winning bid price, cannot be transferred.

18. If the holiday is purchased it will be subject to the Terms and Conditions, the Package Travel and Linked Travel 

Arrangements Regulations 2018 and any other applicable law. If the winner wishes to add any extras to the 

holiday as it is stated above, this must be done after the initial booking and any such amendment will also be 

subject to the Terms and Conditions, the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 

and any other applicable law.

19. Holidays are subject to availability. Upon booking their holiday, the winner will be required to select their 

preferred travel dates subject to any restrictions referred to in clause 11, 12 or 13 above, as applicable, and 

Jet2holidays will endeavour to meet the winner’s request, taking into account flight and hotel availability, 

Jet2holidays’ and any applicable hotelier’s operation and any other relevant factors which may affect 

availability.

20. Transfers to and from the airport in the UK are not included unless otherwise specified. Travel insurance is not 

included. Winners are advised to take out their own insurance. 

21. All passengers must have a valid passport to travel, and must meet all relevant visa and/or other entry 

requirements including any medical/health screening requirements or similar.

General:

23. Entrants’ details will be used to administer the prize draw. Details will be used in accordance with the 

Jet2holidays privacy policy (see https://www.jet2holidays.com/privacy-policyhttp://www.jet2.com/privacy).

24. When entering the Prize Draw entrants will be invited to opt in to receiving marketing from Jet2holidays. If 

entrants choose to opt in, their details will be retained by Jet2holidays for the purposes of marketing (which

may include activities such as passing on information about deals, offers and promotion codes from 

Jet2holidays). 

25. To enable us to use entries as widely as possible entrants agree that any intellectual property rights in their

entries (and any accompanying material) will belong to us and entrants waive any rights they have in relation 

to their entry and any accompanying material. At our request entrants must sign any documents to assign the 

rights to us. Entrants also agree that we may decide at our discretion how their submitted material may be 

used from time to time (which may include entrants’ photo where they have submitted one).

26. Jet2holidays may in its absolute discretion change these terms and conditions or extend the prize draw without 

notice at any time. Jet2holidays may cancel a prize draw without prior notice in the event of circumstances 

arising beyond its control.. 

27. Where Jet2holidays makes any changes to the prize (including dates of travel), no compensation or cash 

equivalent will be available. Jet2holidays will not be liable for any cancellations or changes to the prize draw 

or any prize, or for any loss or damage. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the liability of Jet2holidays 

in relation to personal injury or death caused by Jet2holidays negligence or for fraud. 

28. If any person enters or attempts to enter the prize draw in a manner which Jet2holidays determines is: (a) 

contrary to these terms; (b) by its nature is inconsistent with the spirit of the prize draw; and/or (c) unjust to 

other participants, then such person may be disqualified from the prize draw at Jet2holidays' sole discretion 

and may be required to return any prizes already awarded. This may include without limitation participation by 

professional competitors, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, cheating, hacking, deception or any 

other actions which disadvantage (or are intended to disadvantage) other participants and/or Jet2holidays. 

Where Jet2holidays determines that any actions have impaired the prize draw, Jet2holidays may, at its sole 

discretion take such steps as it deems reasonable to resolve any problems arising from such actions, including:

(a) repeating or adding further stages to the prize draw; or 

(b) in the event of disqualification, awarding the prize to a/other runner(s) up, another entry drawn at 

random or the next entry with the highest number of votes (as applicable). 

29. These terms are subject to English Law and by entering this prize draw you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction 

of the courts of England.
