My BFs sister is in hospital and has had to have a caesarean. Both her and the baby are in real trouble. Don't want to go into it all here but there's more in my diary. Don't want to bring everyone down.

  • I'm off to bed for a couple of hours, I'm pooped after my adventure into town this morning.

I've also applied (again) for a Senior Researcher post with AQA. I didn't get it last time but I've had a chat with my Senior Researcher 'boss' and he said it was very close last time so I've put the form in again. That would be fab as it would be a salaried post rather than self employed and it would still be working from home. The salary would also be more than enough to cover the basics each month.

Before that though I've got the interview at the college on Thursday. It's only part time and a fixed 8 month contract but it would fit in with AQA.

I've also applied for a part time admin post at one of the big comprehensive schools in Poole. That would be just as good as it is next to where I used to park for my last job and takes literally 4 minutes to drive to. The downer is that it is the roughest school in the town so I'd need to toughen up a bit I think!!!

  • I very rarely post on here, but am always checking in to get very sound advice which has stood me in good stead over the last year. I could not have coped without you all, believe me! So just want to take this opportunity to say thanks for all the advice you give, and for just knowing that there are other people who are going through the same thing as me and mine and coping admirably. Happy 2008! Love Kathy xxxx
