Still not sure!My exercise class was extra tough yesterday though I thoroughly enjoyed it. We don't do any bouncing or jumping around, lots of stuff with dumbells and resistance bands and then some balancing. In the late afternoon I had my double vaccination, even though I was almost an hour early the nurses gladly took me as I had been their last appointment of the day. I was early because I dropped off things in town so took a book to read in case I had to wait. My bum didn't even get to warm the seat! This morning I'm off down the road to Glasgow again. The car is being serviced and then I'm staying over for a night at the theatre.Take care everyone.10

Good morning, I think it's dry here, yesterday was a nice day, cold though.
You sound busy Gers, hope you enjoy the theatre.
We arrived home on Friday evening, had a good time catching up with family in the south west, but it was a bit sad leaving them. Dh's brother will be 91 early next year and was a bit emotional when we left, I wish we weren't so far apart.
We were away for less than a week so I don't know how we brought so much washing home, strange. However it's done and dried.
I started some sewing last night, a Christmas stocking for a relative (adult!) It won't take long. I'll crack on with that later today.
This morning I've got a routine hospital appt, I'm never there long, and a quick visit to a friend on the way home.
Hope everyone is all right, and has as good a day as they can.
Take care folks.8 -

Morning folks and thanks GERS. Still too dark to see what's happening out there but the local forecast says any early rain will clear by mid morning and then some sun will come out.
It's lunch day with DF today - if it happens. I await a text on her DH's frame of mind when he gets up. Life is so up and down for her. Last week she had to offer apologies to the chemist and Sky for his nasty words to them.
Before that though I really must have a trying on session and narrow down what to wear for SIL's funeral tomorrow. I don't usually go to such lengths for a funeral but the all black request has scuppered me a bit. I have a long navy coat that comes out for funerals but navy isn't black is it!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all in need of them. Take care all and stay safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"9 -
Morning all
Very damp and cold here but no rain due today which is great I have three people coming today all being well and they have requested a walk which will be nice I’m sure we can find a cafe for a cuppa somewhere too.
Gers the Mars exhibit was stunning yesterday it really took my breath away I spent ages just staring at it, it’s am amazing thing to see, enjoy your theatre trip xx
Not sure about dinner tonight will go and look in the freezer after this, I need to have a quick tidy before my guests come today.
Welcome back Scarlett xxx
TA I’m sure the navy coat will be fine it’s a dark coat and no one will be looking that closely xx
Have good days all and take care xx9 -
Morning, still dark here but dry. Yesterday the sun didn't come through as promised and the wood burner was lit as there was a chilly feel.
OH cleared the wash basin in the bathroom, although it took longer than anticipated. Different tools involved and the cupboard underneath emptied out. Still it gave me a chance to have a tidy in there. It seems the problem was a lot of hair blocking the pipe, said OH looking at me. I only wash my hair in the shower and OH isn't bald either. Never mind, it's done now and I am grateful he can do these jobs and we don't have to call someone out.
Wash load to do today, but I've just heard rain hitting the window, so it may have to be dried indoors.
No idea what's for dinner, I seem to have lost my mojo planning meals, but theres plenty in the freezer so we won't starve.
TA, I would have thought navy would be acceptable, it would have been better to have a dark clothes request. I only have a charcoal grey coat that I wear to funerals but wear black underneath.
Gers safe journey, enjoy the theatre.
Love and hugs to anyone who needs them. Take care all x9 -
Morning all, dry now but was raining when I took Ly1a out,not sure what the forecast is.DS arrived back from his quick trip to Portugal, said the weather was lovely, everyone enjoyed the celebrations. He & a pal got a taxi from the airport so at least DH didnt have to go out. He'd been busy around the house and was tired. The decorating is mainly done now, we've been looking for new bar stools but cant decide.DS2 got some new ones that are padded and comfy but we can't find the right colour.Taff, your extension is looking great but no wonder you're tired!Remmie- DH complains about my hair in the plughole too, & the bath is slow to empty - I think I need to bung some of that unblocker stuff down.I rang the vets to get some of the sedatives for L for bonfire, but they've said they have to see her before they can prescribe as it's a controlled drug & been longer than 6 months since they've seen her .She can't get in the car anymore so it'll have to be the van but that's going in the garage tomorrow- hopefully not for long. Will have to root in the freezer for tea. We had the beef again last night, still enough left for another meal so that's gone in the freezer. Initially I was thinking it was dear but when you break it down to 6+ meals it wasn't that bad.Better get a move on,Gers enjoy your theatre trip, and TA hope you get out for lunch. Take care all.:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)9

Morning everyone
We have a sunny day forecast , yesterday was lovely too. Our trip to the pumpkin patch went well, everyone was very well behaved and thoroughly enjoyed it. The children all chose a pumpkin to take home....they took some choosing! I brought one home for little one too, to carve at the weekend.
Dads care manager rang yesterday to say mams respite afternoons will start again on Friday, so that was good news. It's with a different company than does his daily care so hopefully it will work out ok. At least mam will get a break again.
Little one had an appointment with her consultant yesterday - he's putting her on the urgent list for another endoscopy and thinks her stomach tie needs tightening, how urgent that is depends on what the endoscopy shows. Her blood sugars had been very low last night, so I'm not sure whether she will b e at school this morning.
TA I'm sure a navy coat will be fine, not everyone has a black one.
Rosy red can you order the tablets online?
I have a list of jobs to do this morning, so I'd better get on. Hope everyone has a good day x7 -
Morning! I'm going to a shufti to the meat van this morning, I'm looking for some black pudding, the big ones, one for OHs mum too. I also want some skirt to make some stew and pasties. Allotment was hard work yesterday, the ground's so claggy I only dug a little bit,but I did plant out my geums and some tulips. Electician has now done the switches, and we should have power tonight [ he must work about 90 hours a week, young lad, has a job, then works on top of that] and another board under the stairs so Ihave to empty that out so he has some space. Gives me an excuse to sort my jars of stuff out I suppose. And maybe rationalise the tools I will never use again [ like the plumbing stuff] . It's so odd to have a day off I' not sure what to do now I don't have anything pressing to do [ well, ok the washing has to be done but that's not a fun activity is it?] I might even go for a wander somewhere...TA, I don't think they mean for you to buy something new to wear to her funeral, your navy coat will be fine. Gers, your class sounds like fun though, and an early jabbing, cant beat it! Theatre sounds fun too! Allie, hope your lumps and bumps are going down. Fingers crossed for the craft fair, you have to start so early for the big C word for them...Ruby, you make it sound like I want to drive there to see it too
remmie, ours gets blocked with OHs facial hair AND his hair in the shower. I know it's not mine because mine is white and his is brown...Rosy, fingers crossed for van only a little while in hospital. The nearly finished decorating sounds positive too! Scarlet, wb
nanny, I have to fill my box today too, funy how quick it seems to come around, another week of pills...dp1, fingers crossed for her, god, she'sdoing so well to be coping wih all this, and your DD and you. Good to hear your mum has some respite too... Take care all, wrap up!

Hi everyone,
I feel like I'm back in my kids' teens and running mum's taxi service. Brian is in Wales so this morning I drove Steve to the golf club followed by Laura to work with both E's in the car, returning to get Esben to school just in time.
Esther is obsessed by a programme called Gabby's dollhouse so she's been quietly playing with ours and all the Gabby's and Gabbycats we have. While she was doing that I've been cleaning the dusty leaves on some of my houseplants. Brian wants to take a selection down to the flat they're selling to dress it up a bit for photos.
Steve has his hospital checkup this afternoon so fingers crossed his bloods are fine again.
Safe journey Gers.
Welcome back Scarlet.
Have a good day8
