Morrisons More Points

Hi Everyone.
Been saving Morrisons More points all year to use at Christmas. Managed to acquire 204.000 (£200) worth. Being in my 70s and not very tech savvy thought I would do a dummy run and exchange some points into £20 worth of vouchers. Didn't want to mess things up come the big Christmas shop. That's when it all went wrong. To convert the points you need Morrisons to send a 6 digit code via your email address to put into the Mobile App.It never came through and 4 weeks later and 30 plus emails from Morrisons it still hasn't come through. I am at my wits end. Just wondered if anyone else was having the same problem or if they managed to resolve it. Some suggested it was a delaying tactic by Morrisons hoping the vouchers would run out of date. Regards Tony.

I've not had any issues with Morrisons vouchers (though I haven't had one for a while).
As a general rule, it's not a good idea to keep large numbers of points on a loyalty account. It's better to spend them on a regular basis, as this prevents fraud/theft/expiry and will also help spot technical problems with account access early.1 -
Thank you gmje. Your your reply was very helpful, unlike the other one. I did as you suggested and emailed Morrisons Head office. Still waiting and fingers crossed.. all the best to you. Tony0

It's better to spend them on a regular basis, as this prevents fraud/theft/expiry and will also help spot technical problems with account access early. It's also a fact that More Points have no monetary value, and as such, Morrisons could wind up the scheme before Xmas leaving @TonyGavoni owed precisely nothing. 200 quid gone.Cash out early and often.Morrisons already closed the Match & More scheme once, abandoning partly collected fivers along the way. When I set up my Morrisons/More account this latest time, there was an option to take the points in PRINTED vouchers created in store. They silently removed this and de-selected my choice. Hmmm. When I went to cash out my 5,000+ points into a fiver "voucher" or whatever on the website, there was an option to "load it onto my More card" and it was automatically applied to my next shop. This worked, but was not expected ... fortunately there was no 6-digit code etc. messing about.Looks like they've added MORE security to stop people stealing points.1 -
For me they get delivered in email and I enter the code on checkout, they are £5 off vouchers.
I also use them as they become available, the above post makes good points.
