Tax on my private pension

Options
I have a small pension, paying £140pm and am getting taxed at source on this, I am also self employed, can I ask HMRC to include this on my self assesment (I will make a loss this year so would avoid paying tax on the pension)?

You don't ask HMRC to include in on your self assessment - you include it on your self assessment.

You can ask HMRC to transfer some of your personal allowances to cover your pension.

This will mean no tax wil be deducted from it.

Any tax deducted will be refunded poonce the code number has been changed.

You will include the amount of  pension received on your self assessment tax return.
