When you fill in the SOA, for the 0% cards, please add the date the deal ends, and the rate the account reverts to. If you've got loans, add the end date.
Thanks

I can't remember the exact context of the call but I did get Barclays to lower the interest rate significantly - I think from 20%-ish to 5%. So I would suggest it has to be worth a try - although I appreciate it is scary to make these types of calls (or at least I find them scary!). The worse that will happen is that they don't agree to lower it but they absolutely wouldn't laugh at you.butfirstlipstick said:
Is it worth me contacting the companies to ask if there's a way they can extend the 0% interest offers or will they just laugh at me? I know that's one way of them making money, but if anyone has tried it or has anything to suggest/advise, I'd really appreciate it.Debt as at 5 June 2023 - £15,600.89
Current debt - £5,435.00

They operate a system known as "fractional reserve banking" which means they lend money they only have on paper. They need you much more than you need them, so don`t ever hesitate to ask them anything.
You are the one who is in control, not them, although they would deny such a thing, trust me it`s the truth, without you and millions like you, they would not have a business, so never make the mistake that you are something to laugh at, if anything the laugh is on them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
