I just emailed them and asked. Not sure about Intelligent Octopus Go, just checking now...Qyburn said:
How does that work? On the web site it says you need to link up a compatible car or charger. And directs you to Intelligent Octopus Flux for home solar/battery systems.ludditeJazz said:(I’m currently favouring Octopus Intelligent Go - they tell me I can use home battery in place of EV).
It's worth doing the maths for these options. For example I'm currently on Go for import @8.5p and Outgoing Fixed at 15p for export. IOF would be 14.25p more expensive for import, but pays 7.75p more on export. This breaks even if export is around 1.8 times import.0 -
I’m writing a story about home batteries for the Financial Times based on my own experience as a non technical consumer installing one in my london home. I’m interested to learn how many people have had delays and / or technical problems with installation of their new batteries. I bought a Duracell battery from So Energy in april but it wasn’t correctly configured until august. Puredrive engineers came back and forth, there was a new part needed, configuration had to be tested on another local home before they knew the settings for mine. It was all quite a palaver.
@Screwdriva And @QrizB kindly helped advise at the time.

I'm glad your battery system worked out in the end! It's a shame there was any palaver required but it does sound as though Puredrive were willing to put in the time and effort to get it all working.
