CCA on fresh debt vs old

Hi, I posted here before. I am just about to have a new waive of sold/passed on debt.
I sort of assumed if I put in rrequests to see CCA they will likely find them, as they can ask the original lender, being a freshly sold debt.
Second option, wait until six years passes and then ask, as there would be a better chance of them no longer able to locate it.

Whether the CCA can be found will more likely depend on how long ago the credit was first taken out. If it's a credit card that you took out 20 years back and it's never been a problem til recently then it's possible that the CCA no longer exists. If it's a recent loan more likely it will be found. But then you also have the issue of online applications in which case there's no actual CCA just a page you've completed. Whether this is accurate or not may be more to the point than whether it exists at all. Some companies seem to assume you will agree that the screenshot they provide is actually accurate. I've heard of some where the one provided isn't actually in a person's used name at the time it was signed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
