Has anyone else won this recently through Hearstmagazines as I may be overly suspicious but there is quite a drawn out process to get the prize money as per the following email.

Prizes are claimable through our new Beneficiary Self-Management system with HSBC, a simple process through which you trigger the payment of the prize money into your bank account or PayPal account following the steps set out in this HSBC video.

For security,  this process involves a two-step authentication process as part of which you will receive a password to your mobile phone number.  We do not have your mobile number in our records, therefore kindly ask that you respond to this email with your up-to-date mobile number for this purpose by Monday 28th October 2024. After this, please look out for an email from HSBC (advisory.clientbenefservice@bsm.business.hsbc.com) for the next steps in claiming your prize money. 

Once the email from HSBC is received, please follow the instructions to register using ************* for the “Registration Code”.

Congrats on your win.

I haven't won with them but this has been brought up before (see this thread for example). It seems to be the usual way for them to process the payments so it sounds like a legitimate win to me.

Thanks KJ1986 and for the thread you posted about this.  I'll relax now and send them my mobile (which, as was mentioned in the thread, I had already put in the entry form).  Thanks again for putting my mind at rest.
