The prize:
The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, at the Samling, a luxurious Lake District hotel overlooking Windermere with a Michelin-starred restaurant. In 67 acres of gardens, woodland and fellside grounds, this elegant Georgian villa has 12 guest rooms, ranging from Classic doubles to serene, self-contained cottages.
At its spectacular, glass-walled restaurant the views are matched by the clear, well-balanced flavours of the executive chef Robby Jenks’s tasting menu. Its cellar is home to 1,200 of the finest wines, including a strong selection of English vintages. One dinner for two (excluding drinks) is included in the prize.
The prize must be taken between January 2 and March 30, 2025, subject to availability and excluding February 15 and 16.
