Smi (Support for mortgage interest) while in an IVA

Hi all does anyone claim the SMI (support for mortgage interest) while in an IVA?
I am looking at all my debt options currently and if I am unable to claim SMI that will massively reduce what I can pay. Would only be around £100pcm and on debts of £75000 not sure that would even be accepted as an IVA?

Have a read of the information on this page: Deciding if you should apply for SMI - Citizens AdviceThe comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

That’s great thank you, I understand the reasoning I guess that the house would sell for less. The whole thing is I want to protect the house with the IVA so ideally I need the SMI to help with to make payments meaningful.
