Well, after many, many years of struggling with debt, I seem to be able to see the end !!!
Got my car to pay off, will be able to clear that in 19 months. (Work Sharesave)
Still have my DMP to pay, but, i have that in hand and will be paying it off in 30 months (Work Sharesave 2)
The capital from these is safe, so, i will always get back at least what i saved and thats enough to clear those 2 debts.
Got my income and expenditure all onto a spreadsheet, best thing i ever done, eveyone should do it. I know whats coming in I know whats going out.
I pay my bills from the account my wages go into, I move a set amount to another bank account, where I gave pots set up Weeks 1-4, I spilt my transfer evenly across the pots and budget. I also have save the change set up on this account, and you know what? It adds up, ok, not a massive amount, but, Im gonna use it to help pay MOT when due, tyen, go again.
I have everything in place, i now know what I am doing, I csn see the end, I just wish it would hurry up !!!
