Simple assessment MIA what next

in Cutting tax
I still have not received my simple assessment which normally arrives in July. I contacted HMRC & the person I spoke to says there is nothing for 23-24 showing on my account. There should be state pension, personal pension & some taxable interest. So according to them no tax due, which I know is not going to be true. So what do I do now? I have been told that if I file self assessment they will ignore it anyway.
I did (sort of) open a gateway account a few years ago but whilst it was opened I could never actually access it. So I thought I would open one now & it said I couldn't because I already had one. I then dug up the old one & it said that it had been deleted from lack of use.
So what now do I sit back & wait or is there something I can actually do to sort it?

I would appear to have died, just hope they don't stop my state pension.
