Can I refuse delivery?

My son had mistakenly ordered a large monthly batch of meat to our home address instead of his uni address 🤦♀️ Supplier is saying we can’t cancel or redirect as it’s within 72 hours but it is not yet with the courier! Do I have the ability to refuse the delivery when it arrives and get a refund? I don’t have anywhere to store that much food 😭

You can refuse delivery but he will still have to pay for it as it's his mistake. Can you ask a neighbour to store some?5
