Can't get rid of flea problem, over a year!

I've noticed that. I see dogs scratching furiously with fleas but cats don't bother. One of my cats had fleas once and i only realised when i saw one because they showed no discomfort. Ive treated the cats monthly since and no fleas

It was discovered the cat was the culprit.
The cat wasn’t showing any signs and my sister wasn’t bitten. Only my nephew was affected.1
