My Wife has just started a new job and is commuting to London Bridge from St Neots 3 days per week. the Flexi Season Ticket gives slightly better costs than buying a daily ticket. You buy a bundle of 8 journeys to use in any 28 day period. To buy the ticket, she had to buy and register a Key Card, which she uses to activate each days travel. My wife has used 7 of the 8 so far and each day it is used is being charged £5.60.  Her bank statement shows Thameslink WEBTIS as the originator. Googling brings up nothing and Thameslink customer service are as good as a chocolate teapot, unable to give any answers to what is happening. She is currently disputing the transactions with her bank, but would appreciate any input from members who have had similar issues and can advise what it is?

Thanks

Mark

How much should she be paying per trip?

The danger here is disputing is that they could block the key card used.

Thameslink Webtis is their ticket billing platform.

Other thing she does not keep contactless card in same pouch as smart card does she. So it is picking up contactless instead of key card.

This sounds like some kind of confusion between the flexi season and Thameslink's KeyGo pay as you go scheme

  • Sorry for the delayed response, we have been away. It seems that the ticketing is so difficult that different staff members don't know what the actual rates are. It seems that the ticket my Wife was buying was to London Terminals and what she actually needed was London Thameslink. With this extra money, it works out cheaper for my wife to use daily split ticketing to Finsbury Park and then to London Bridge (around £3 per day cheaper and can stay on the same train). Madness if you ask me!!
