    cheers
  • Yes it does.

On AJ Bell it’s listed as Vanguard Lifestrategy 80% Equity A Acc
  • thank you.  so i assume then that i just click 'find and invest', select the lifestrategy 80 acc fund, and 'place an order'.

and then 'buy' for the full 135k balance of my SIPP yes?

I switched my ISA away from II a year ago but yes, that's how I remember it working.

  • just went to go 135k all-in on it, and it prompted me to read the costs and charges.  had a quick glance and thought id double check as i had thought that the cost for this SIPP would be the 0.22% fee and the monthly set fee of £25.  does all of this below look ok particularly the top one?

and bearing in mind i plan on setting up a DD for £100 each month which im led to believe wont cost any extra per transaction.....

    am i good to go?

    thanks
  • just wanting to double check this please before i 'press Go' as i see one person has given a 'thumbs up'.  does the above still correlate to £12.99 II fees, and 0.22% of the fund i'll invest in please (LS80)?  so no extra charges above and beyond these?

    thank you

LS80 is showing as 0.25% overall including their transaction costs of 0.03 on top of the 0.22 product fee.

That will be the same for LS80 wherever you invest in it, the 0.22 is Vanguard's fee and the 0.03 is incidental costs they incur as they trade on your behalf.

I don't know how ii charge but I can't relate what they have in the table above at 0.04% to your stated £12.99 per month.

I think ii charge the £12.99 pm for having a SIPP as a flat fee to cover admin so I would think that the 0.04% commission rate is on top of that at time of any dealing but you could check with them.

Only other charges will be any statutory levies or taxes on exchange traded products e.g. ETFs, ITs and shares if you ever decided to purchase those in the future.
  • twitchy bum time as im about to go all-in on something now, and thought it would be the LS80.  however, plenty of googling suggests that the heavy UK weighting on funds isnt the best idea, and global might be better.

which global acc funds do you think would incur similar running costs to the LS80?  and do you generally agree that heavy UK weighting isnt ideal?

    thanks

VWRL, HMWO or FTWG might be reasonable exchange traded funds to look at.
  • If you want a product that gives you a range of risk graded options without the UK bias then HSBC Global Strategy would be an option. Blackrock do something similar I believe.

I’m sure there are other options too.
