The sale is over. My old iPad had a badly broken screen and completely out dated so I thought this is my opportunity. I looked pretty hard to find a replacement and then said dam’t I’ll go for broke and buy as near the top as possible.  I eventually found a renewed iPad Air 5th generation

On the day after the sale I wanted to see a few reviews and perhaps get a few tips but to my surprise on offer was a New iPad Air 5th generation at £25 less than the sale price for the renewed version.

I bought the new one, the renewed will be going back next week - it’s arriving today, the new one Monday

Not  only  that but when I took a much closer look at the iPad Air 5 generation that had been  on sale, and also the new one, the spec for both was that of the 6th generation, not 5. Still I don’t mind I seeem to have a better iPad Air !

Hopefully they'll both be safely delivered (and one returned) and not stolen/go missing en route...

Lots of reports of expensive tech not arriving...

Not sure I could be bothered with all that for the £25/ very low percentage saving, even less once Amazon charge you for the return.

Well I’d be inclined to look at it this way, as a money saver £25 is better in my pocket than Amazons pocket.
A new product is always better than a new one.
From my reading of Amazons returns policy I should be entitled to a free return
