The normal response is a brush off in my experience and some act like they are taking it seriously but then say they they wete correct to lend but offer you a "goodwill" payment that's nowhere near the actual interest. I've never had one admit fault and refund the interest, but I've had some very good wins from taking it to the. FOS. The best was a £15,000 interest refund from a Nationwide credit card, it did tske two years fighting them every steo of the way though.
