FB Comps and locked out Help

If this is in the wrong place Sorry

I had my laptop cleaned up, and now when I logged into my FB I put my wrong password
I requested a new one, which I did and sent me a code to my email, I entered it and said now checked FB messages on your email to confirm, 
I saw the message 
You requestd a new passwod if this was not you click the link if it was just ingnore this.
I have not been able to log in, I have changed passwords tried to get help but no luck, I cannot report it as I cannot log on. 

I have asked a friend and my account is still visable

Does anyone have a contact or some way to help me get my account open I have spent 2 days trying

I have been doing this for 2 days and reset password over and over and then keep getting 

Check your notifications on another device

We sent a notification to your Windows PC. Check your Facebook notifications there and approve the login to continue.

But I do not receive the notification
and there is no option for me to put my phone number in for the notification.
I am just at a loss. this is the account I use for the FB comps, friedns tell me my account is there and they are tagging me but just cannot get in
