How much do you need to live on? What are your state pension forecasts? If you are only planning to use these savings to draw the equivalent of the state pension for 5 and 6 years respectively that possibly wouldn't see your savings eroded by much more than inflation. But you need to look at your spending plans and hopes for the rest of your lives.
