Prime Credit 5

After some help if possible. I took a loan from Welcome Finance around 2015. This was passed to Prime Credit 5 after going bust. I cleared the loan in 2017 but they have not removed the 2nd charge from my property. Only realised now as re-mortgaging. Can't find any details for Prime 5 and dont have any paperwork. although my bank statements show the lump sum to them in 2017 Land Registry will not remove the Charge as I need to prove its cleared. Any ideas where to go next please

  • Your solicitor should be able to help - either you will need some kind of indemnity insurance policy in case someone creeps out from under the woodwork to make a claim or the Land Registry should be able to help.
You Mention Welcome Finance do they nor hold any information about Prime?
  • Thank you. I have actually been in touch with aceden/Kensington who apparantly managed the loan for prime 5 and they still have my account on file and have sent me the discharge letter that was sent to me in 2017. So hopefully can get things cleared up, fingers 🤞
