Contracted out but no effect on new state pension forecast?

  • Hello

Thank’s for waking me up to this (as after that long post I wrote) I see that I simply miscalculated the percentage increase for the new amount due from April 2026 and thought that the AI calculation was wrong and robbing me - because I knew had not been contracted out for long and wrongly thought the 965.20 was less than the new rate but was loathe to ask for a mandatory reconsideration precisely because I thought the AI surely can check my records correctly as mine are not complicated, so then thought well it IS wrong so maybe it is a really badly hashed up system.

I always get paranoid with state related things which is how I probably miscalculated a simple equation.

But as you rightly say the check is correct.

You may need a lie down now , sorry!
    Cheers
